Tech Help Sessions are Full

The weekly Tech Help sessions scheduled for March are full. If you have questions about using the new technology, please email You do not have to be registered for the community website in order to email your questions. From "The Week Ahead" March 1, 2019 
The Community Association appreciates your support and patience as we transitioned to the new software systems over these early months of 2019. Staff has noticed fewer questions from residents as everyone gets accustomed to using the new programs. As such, Tech Update emails will be sent as needed as opposed to the bi-weekly schedule. Staff may also post important announcements to the scrolling website ticker if the situation arises.

Weekly Tech Help sessions will continue throughout March. Sessions will be available in the mornings only from 9-11 a.m. Fridays, March 8, 15, 22 and 29 in Pinckney Hall. Appointments are required; sign up in the Seminar Binder at Lifestyle Services. Walk-in appointments are not available.

AAM All Access Updates
The AAM All Access app has been updated to include a current room schedule and the ability to view upcoming room schedules. The update also enhances the app’s maintenance request feature. You will now receive email updates about your maintenance request if it is submitted through the AAM All Access App.

Website Updates
The Association staff and AAM’s IT team continue to make tweaks to the community website. For example, pages in the Community Library were recently renamed to stay consistent with language used with the previous website. Additionally, staff has taken on the project of retitling and reorganizing the massive library of documents available online. When documents were transferred from the previous site, the new website automatically organized documents in alphanumeric order. Please remain patient as the Association addresses this issue. It requires staff to develop a new naming convention and then rename every document according to the new format.

The web developers also researched the possibility of making the website search function more user friendly. In the meantime, the developers have provided these search tips to assist with using the current feature.

Website Search Tips
When entering search criteria, please note the following guidelines:
  • Enter one or more words. The search will treat anything separated by spaces as distinct words and will return results containing at least one occurrence of at least one of the words you enter.
  • You may use either uppercase or lowercase letters, as the search is not case-sensitive.
  • You may search for any word except for those in the exception list (a, an, and, as, and other common words). Words in the exception list are ignored during a search.
  • Punctuation marks such as the period (.), colon (:), semicolon (;), and comma (,) are also ignored during a search.
Once you have entered your search criteria, click the Search button. The results will then be displayed.

After you have entered your search criteria and selected the Search button, the results of your search will be displayed. Remember, the search will treat anything separated by spaces as distinct words and will return results containing at least one occurrence of at least one of the words you enter.

You can search through specific items that appear in the Community Library. Click on Documents or Forms from Resident Central, then use the Search function to locate a word or phrase.

Once the item is in view, click View Online. A separate window will open and the word or phrase you typed will be highlighted.

Daylight Saving Time
Daylight saving time begins 2 a.m. Sunday, March 10. As a result, the AAM Customer Service Line hours will shift to 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m. EST at (866) 516-7424.
